Why Ruby & Louie were created

Through her work with children and families, Jo Ann saw that learning becomes most meaningful when children feel connected, engaged, and part of the experience.

While books create important shared moments, many children learn best when stories continue through play, imagination, and familiar experiences.

Ruby & Louie were created to extend the Talk, Play & Read experience beyond the page, helping children connect, explore, and stay engaged in learning through everyday moments.

They bring stories to life through play, connection, and real-world experiences.
